Exotic Hunting
In addition to trophy whitetail, JAG Ranch offers several premium exotic species for year-round hunting. Our family has hunted exotic game throughout North America and we will help you achieve a most memorable hunting experience. Our exotic hunts are all-inclusive and fees include the guide service, lodging and meals.
Axis Deer
One of the most beautiful exotic deer species, Axis have a rust-colored coat with white spots which actually grow brighter as the deer ages. They have a large, white throat patch which is more prominent in the males, and Axis antlers feature a typical six point design. Each antler sweeps back into an upward curve and has three points. Axis antlers in the 30-inch range are considered excellent trophies. There is no fixed season and stags with growing antlers in velvet can be seen during any month of the year.

Bison
By 1889, the thundering herd of 60 million bison were reduced to less than 500. But thanks to ranchers, sportsmen, conservationists and legislation, there are mare than 350,000 bison in North America today! This revitalization now allows for the exciting sport hunting of trophy bulls and, at the JAG Ranch, we’re proud to offer a limited number of premium bison hunts.
